The setting refers to the famous "café aman" - mine of the early Rebétiko - spread between the end of XIX century and the beginning of the XX century in Smyrna, Costantinople, Athens...
The show - that does not neglect music and dance tradition of the Asia Minor Greek refugees communities (from the Cappadocia to the Aegean coasts), opening up also to the contemporary repertoire that shatters the Levant borders - brings to the stage the feminine world in its languishing and elegant side exquisitely heightened by violin, nay, oud and bouzouki sonorous interlaces.
