"PÉRGAMOS PROJECT" invites the audience to a musical experience through Greece of the beginning of the XX century. A journey that, crossing Egean Sea will lead the public from Costantinople and Smyrna popular districts to Pireus port, to listen to the melodies that have created the myth of the Rebétiko...

During the concert the group proposes some of the most beautiful songs that belong to the tradition of Greek people from Asia Minor and to the most representative composers of the period from 1922 to 1952, such as Vaghelis Papazoglou, Panayiotis Toudas, Markos Vamvakaris and Vassilis Tsitsanis.

For staging the musical project "Pérgamos",
Takis Kunelis calls from Greece the virtuoso violinist Kyriakos Gouventas and the multi-instrumentalist and singer Yannis Alexandris - two musicians, who have represented Greek music in the most prestigious festivals all over the world...

Kyriakos GOUVENTAS - violin
Yannis ALEXANDRIS - vocals, lute, baglamàs, guitar
