Takis Kunelis, ateniese, musicista polistrumentista e cantante, residente attualmente a Milano. Come suonatore di bouzouki appartiene a quella generazione che, nella Grecia degli anni '70, partecipò al vasto movimento giovanile dedito a "riscoprire" e a far rivivere il Rebétiko. Da anni è promotore delle espressioni più autentiche e rappresentative della tradizione musicale della sua terra attraverso l'attività concertistica del "Takis Kunelis Ensemble" e del "Pérgamos Project".

Originaire d'Athènes, résidant aujourd'hui à Milan, Takis Kunelis est musicien polistrumentiste et chanteur. En tant que joueur de bouzouki, il appartient à la génération qui dans la Grèce des années 70, participa au vaste mouvement de jeunes attachés à "redécouvrir" et à faire revivre le Rebétiko. Depuis des années maintenant il est l'un des ambassadeurs de l'expression la plus authentique de la tradition musicale de son pays grâce à l'activité de concertiste au sein du "Pérgamos Project" et du "Takis Kunelis Ensemble".

Takis Kunelis is a Greek born multi-instrumentalist and singer based in Milan. As bouzouki player, he belongs to the musicians generation that, in the 70s, experienced the thrilling adventure of Rebétiko "rediscovery" and revaluation taking part in the huge youthful movement devoted to bring back to life that popular singing. For years now, he's the promoter of the most authentic and representative expressions of his homeland traditional music through the concert activity of the "Takis Kunelis Ensemble" and the "Pérgamos Project".
